BH9005 Volatile Phenol Water Quality Online Automatic Monitor

Product Overview
Phenols can be distilled with water vapor, divided into volatile phenol and non - volatile phenol. Volatile phenol refers to the boiling point below 23ºC of phenols, usually a monophenol. Phenols mainly come from wastewater from oil refining, gas washing, coking, paper making, synthetic ammonia, wood anticorrosion and chemical industry.
Phenols are highly toxic substances, which can denature protein in low concentration and precipitate protein in high concentration. They have direct damage to various cells and strong corrosion effect on skin and mucosa. Drinking water contaminated with phenol for a long time can cause dizziness, rash, pruritus, anemia, nausea, vomiting and various neurological symptoms. Phenolic compounds promote cancer in humans and mammals. National standard gb5749-2006 the content of volatile phenols (including phenol) in drinking water was less than 0.002 mg/L.
The analyzer can be set long-term unattended automatic continuous work according to the site, widely used in industrial pollution sources discharge wastewater, industrial process wastewater, industrial sewage treatment plant sewage, municipal sewage treatment plant sewage and other occasions. According to the complexity of the field test conditions, the corresponding pretreatment system can be selected to ensure the reliability of the test process and the accuracy of the test results, so as to fully meet the site requirements of different occasions.

Product Principle
When the concentration of volatile phenol in the water sample was lower than 0.5mg/L, 4-aminoantipyrine extraction spectrophotometry was used; when the concentration was higher than 0.5mg/L, 4-aminoantipyrine direct spectrophotometry was used. The measurement results were automatically calculated by the input data processing system of the measurement signal. It is mainly used in online monitoring of water quality of rivers, lakes, surface water and groundwater, and water quality of waterworks.
