The Digital Suspended Solids / Sludge Concentration Sensor measures sludge levels using a combined infrared absorption and light-scattering method. Additionally, it complies with ISO 7027 standards, ensuring accurate results even when water shows strong color.
Moreover, the sensor includes a built-in auto-cleaning scraper that prevents fouling and maintains lens clarity for reliable performance. The device also features self-diagnostics and simple calibration, making field setup easy.
Made from 316L stainless steel, the sensor resists corrosion, while a titanium plating option protects it in seawater or highly corrosive environments. Also, its IP68 waterproof rating allows full immersion for online applications.
Further, the sensor transmits real-time data (TSS, sludge concentration, temperature) via RS‑485 with Modbus-RTU compatibility. It supports software-based configuration—such as calibration, baud rate adjustments, and settings—without needing a separate meter.
